Ms. Williams’ experience includes seven years handling a wide range of responsibilities, from office manager to after school and performing arts program coordinator, at South Bay Lutheran High School and Preparatory Academy in Inglewood. Most recently, Raines-Brown successfully completed “Closing the Achievement Gap: Linking Families, Schools, and Communities through Complementary Learning” courses and certification from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Since 1988, she has resided in Inglewood, where she operates her own foundations, Adopt a Child Give a Gift and the Carol Raines-Brown Children’s Ministry International. She is also actively involved in numerous church groups, child advocacy organizations, and foster care programs. For more information

Dr. Young has been involved  with the education community of IUSD for over 33 years as a secondary science, math, and career education teacher, secondary counselor, secondary assistant principal, summer school principal, parent, volunteer, principal of  a community tutorial program, School Site Council President, and annual career day presenter throughout IUSD from 1987- present.
