Warren Lane participates in competitive sports against other IUSD Middle Schools throughout the school year. 6th, 7th and 8th grade students can tryout for any of our competitive teams during the appropriate season, however, they must have at least a 2.00 GPA, and no U’s in any classes. Practice starts at 2:30 pm and usually ends at 4:30 pm on designated days.
Uniforms for the teams are usually donated to our Football, Soccer, and Basketball teams. The Cheerleaders normally have fundraisers to pay for their uniforms. If you have any connections or would like to make a donation towards team jerseys or uniforms please contact the School in the front office. Thanks for your continued support!

Each group is ran and sponsored by members of the Booster Club. Practices are held after school on our campus.
Each school month teachers select a student who has shown good citizenship or high academic achievement in his/her classroom. These students are recognized by being photographed and these photographs are displayed on a large bulletin board in the school’s cafeteria. The students also receive a copy of their photograph and a certificate.
Students can earn Lion Bucks for good behavior throughout the school year. At least once per trimester, students can purchase prizes with the Lion Bucks they have earned.
Our cheerleaders support basketball, football, and Boy ane Girsl soccer teams. The Cheer coaches, our Teachers teach the girls dance routines and discipline. They also perform community service by participating in local parades and visiting the shut-in at local retirement homes. Coming to practice is a must, practice is everyday except on game day. Games will usually be held every week on Wednesday or Thursday @ school Location or Local Park . If there are any questions or comments please contact the School for more information at 310-680-5330.
The Boys and . The games will be played at the school Ground or local park . The girl’s games will start at 3: 30pm until 4:30pm when the boy’s games will begin. Ask Coach for more information @ 310-680-5330.
The soccer games are usually played at Local High Schools. Practice During the week from 2:30 to 4:00pm. Pick-up time for the players is at 5:00pm from the field on game days. For more information about the soccer team, please call the team adviser, (310) 680- 5330.
