School Profile

The Inglewood Community Adult School, operating under the auspices of the Inglewood Unified School District, was established in April 1955. In 2008, we will have served the community for the 43rd year. 

Inglewood is a multi-ethnic community of over 9 ½ square miles. The Inglewood Community Adult School is located at 106 East Manchester Boulevard, Suite 350 and has its administrative offices on the campus of the Inglewood High School. It offers 74 subjects leading to a high school diploma or a GED equivalency certificate.

The Inglewood Community Adult School was accredited in March 2005 by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Among its more popular and most attended classes are English as a Second Language (ESL), word processing, high school diploma subjects, conversational Spanish, older adult subjects, computer technology, secretarial sciences, vocational education courses, and cosmetology. Classes are offered at more than 15 locations throughout the city.

economic, and social changes, is to provide life-long educational opportunities and services that
will address the unique needs of individuals in a diverse population.
